It's Time To Store Up

We do not know the unexpected (unforeseen) events that will occur so it best to be prepared.

Learn from the ant:
"Look at an ant. Watch it closely; let it teach you a thing or two. Nobody has to tell it what to do. All summer it stores up food; at harvest it stockpiles provisions." Proverbs 6:6-8 (MSG)

Do this:
Watch ants for awhile see what they do. We have plenty of ant hills in our yard to take a moment to do this. Have you ever notice it carry food bigger than itself. Have you notice that it's on a mission to get and gather. Just watch. Hey don't get to close they may crawl on you. Try not to disturb it but observe it.

Now for us:
One news show says we in a recession one news show says we are not. TURN OFF THE NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The economy my look bad but there are ways that we can survive and come out on top. Sometimes we have to look to the past to see how things were done to get wisdom on things then there are things from the past that just can't help and we have to reach inside ourselves to pull out that creativity to survive and thrive NOW.

It's Time to Store Up:

Financially:
If you haven't been saving do so now. Don't say you can't open up a $5 credit union savings account. (I did).

Necessities:
We have been learning about couponing so use what you have learned and start stockpiling from food, personal care items, and etc.

Go back to the basics:
Start a small garden and once the crops come up freeze and can that stuff.

STOP throwing those pennies away:
Start collecting them in a jar or some container and once full roll those suckers up and get cash. (Someone had thrown a trail of pennies on the ground where I worked I picked those babies up....I ain't too proud). One day someone might throw some bills on the ground (ha!ha!)

Start small
Start now
Hey man Just Start!!!!

With the knowledge we have acquired and when the fall and winter come we will be well prepared while the others will be suffering.....

See the rest of the scripture states this:

"So how long are you going to laze around doing nothing? How long before you get out of bed? A nap here, a nap there, a day off here, a day off there, sit back, take it easy—do you know what comes next? Just this: You can look forward to a dirt-poor life, poverty your permanent houseguest!" Proverbs 6:9-11 (MSG)

Generosity:
With the all the items we have stockpiled we will also be able to help those in need. There will be those not the FOOLISH ones but just those who just was hit by bad circumstances that would need help. Think about Hurricane Katrina. Think about other Mother Nature Disasters. You may have been through some and survived. Don't HOG, HELP!!!!!

Blessings to all.
I am starting small but I have started.

P.S.
Research past history like The Great Depression and see how some of those people survived doing those times. Sometime we have to take Governmental Assistance ----- JUST DON'T STAY ON IT FOREVER. Through those hard time multimillion dollar companies were started.

Ask yourself? What idea or ideas have been popping in your head that you keep brushing off? Take a course. Buy a book. Educate yourself. You may be one of the many that will rise out of this tough economic time with a very prosperous business or businesses.
